In during the Spring of 2016 at Burlington College I participated in a class called “Becoming Your Own Artist” where each of the students were split into groups that would either help paint a crow mural on the side of the building with Mary Lacy, plan the art party, or advertise the art party. I was part of the team that managed the Facebook group, and ran the sub team that was responsible for creating animated gif advertisements for both Facebook, and Instagram. Animation is not something I do normally given that I made these in Photoshop, but it was a memorable experience that let me see what it was like to run a social media group, and create content for it.
